Open the PID block and select the Remote Setpoint tab. See figure below:
PID with Remote
SP
When the setpoint mode is REMOTE, the active setpoint is the remote setpoint value
multiplied by the ratio and added to the bias. This may be an external connection or
internal value.
Remote setpoint range Low: (RSPRL): The remote setpoint range low floating point
value represents the bottom of the setpoint range and must be less than the range high
value. See remote setpoint range high.
Remote setpoint range High: (RSPRH): The remote setpoint range high floating point
value represents the top of the setpoint range and must be greater than the range low value.
The remote setpoint range values are used to scale the remote setpoint input from setpoint
units to input units. If the setpoint units are 0 to 100% and the input units are 0 to 500
gallons, then the remote setpoint range high would be 500 and the low would be 0.
Remote setpoint balance type (SPBTYPE): Transfers to remote setpoint can be made
bumpless by specifying auto ratio or auto bias. Transfers to local are always bumpless as
the local setpoint signal is maintained at the active setpoint when not in local. AUTO
RATIO or AUTO BIAS cannot be used if the corresponding remote input is configured.
Standard: Neither ratio or bias are manipulated to provide bumpless transfer to remote
