Pre-configured Dual Loop PID Control

To change the value of the Derivative Lag Constant (S15):

Open the PID block and open the Control tab. Change the Input Filter Type to Pre-act,

. Type a value in floating point units in the Input Filter Time field.

PID with Local SP

The filter time in minutes (floating point value) when USER is specified as the filter type.
Otherwise, it is 0.0.

0.0 = no filtering (last sampled value is the input value)

1.0 = 1 minute

1000.0 = 1000 minutes (maximum value)

Note that exceptionally large values tend to maintain the previous value whereas very
small values tend to maintain the most recent sampled value.
