You will need to use a different input function block if the input selected in the AIN block
is other than voltage / current. Use the following rule:
Input Type Input Function block Type
Current, Voltage, Milli voltage VCI (voltage or current input)
TTI (thermocouple transmitter input)
RTTI (RTD transmitter input)
Thermocouple TI (thermocouple input)
RTD RTI (RTD Input)
Resistance RI (resistance Input)
Configuration of the Remote Setpoint input is similar to this. The function blocks for the
remote setpoint are AIN2 and VCI2.
Repeat this procedure for the second loop. The inputs configure in this loop use VCIM
blocks (Voltage/Current Input Modules). You will need plug-in modules for these inputs.
The signal conditioning for these inputs are done by using the VCI blocks as in the first
loop. See the next figure for the input configuration:
