MSTP Instance Setting
VLAN Instance Configuration
1. VLAN Instance Configuration: Select “VLAN Instance Configuration”
button. The “VLAN Instance Configuration” window appears.
2. VLAN ID: Select “VLAN ID” drop-down menu to choose VLAN
from “VLAN ID” drop-down list to simultaneously add multiple
VLANs for the corresponding instance of a bridge.
3. Instance ID (1..15): Select “Instance ID” text box to specify the
instance ID.
4. Update setting: Select “Update setting” button when you finished
VLAN Instance Configuration.
Included VLANs
1. Instance ID: Select “Instance ID” drop-down menu to choose instance
ID from “Instance ID” drop-down list.
2. Included VLAN: Select “Included VLAN” drop-down menu to choose
VLAN from “Included VLAN” drop-down list.
Instance Setting
1. Bridge Priority (0..61440): Select “Bridge Priority” text box to set the
bridge priority for an MST instance to the value specified. The lower
the priority of the bridge, the better the chance the bridge will become
a root bridge or a designated bridge for the LAN.
