Defining your capture settings

Note
When capturing HDMI embedded audio, only uncompressed
embedded audio is supported.

Use Automatic Gain Control (AGC)
if you want the gain of your
composite or S-Video input signal to be adjusted automatically to
compensate for very bright or dark images. This improves the brightness or
contrast of your picture.

Remarks
• To capture video on Matrox MXO2, your project’s color space must be set to
YCbCr.
• Matrox MXO2 supports the
Audio
tool so that you can monitor and adjust
your audio input levels for capture.
• Capture on Matrox MXO2 is not supported for a 24p NTSC, 24pPAL, or
720p/29.97 project.
• When Matrox MXO2 is outputting video for previewing your captured
video, attempting to open the
Matrox Playback Settings
dialog box will
stop the video preview and the
Capture
tool will lose the focus. However,
the
Matrox Playback Settings
dialog box will not open unless you attempt
to open it a second time.
