1). Add bearing pad shims & spacers as required to shim
boom to within 1/16" of a tight fit. Amounts of shims can vary at
each shim point. When a shim is used with a pad, a spacer must be
inserted between pad & shim. No pads shall sit directly on slotted
surface of shims.
2). The length of pad bolts depend on the amount of shims
used. Bolt cannot extend past chamfer on bearing.
