Overview
When you install IntelliTrack Stockroom v5.2 SQL, a Compact utility is
created, for the workstation application file. Running the Compact Stock-
room workstation Utility reconditions the IntelliTrack Stockroom front-
end database files, thus improving your system performance. It is a good
idea to run this utility at regular intervals, based on system usage.
Note: You cannot run the Compact Utility when IntelliTrack Stockroom is
open.
Compacting the Workstation Application File
To compact the database file, exit IntelliTrack Stockroom and then select
Start > Program > IntelliTrack > Stockroom > Compact Stockroom
Workstation. The Compact Workstation Utility will open. You will see a
Compacting status bar along the bottom of the window. When the applica-
tion file is compacted, the Compact Stockroom Workstation Utility will
close automatically.
