PAC208/216 XLR Board
The XLR Board houses the XLR connectors to the rear panel. Removal of this board
requires removal of the Daughter Board, if any, the power supply shield, and the Main
Board.
To remove the XLR Board:
1. Perform the cover removal procedure (page 6-49).
2. If present, remove the Daughter Board (page 6-58).
3. Perform the Main Board removal procedure (page 6-60).
4. Use the small Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws on the outside of the rear
panel which secure the XLR Board to the rear panel (1 in Figure 6-38).
5. Use the Torx tool with the T15 tip to remove the screws which secure the XLR Board
inside the rear panel and lift the board up and out of the chassis (2 and 3 in
Figure 6-38).
To replace the XLR Board:
1. Being careful to align screw holes and connector holes in the rear panel, position the
XLR Board at the rear panel and use the small Phillips screwdriver to secure the board
with the screws previously removed from the outside of the rear panel (Figure 6-38).
Do not tighten any screws until all are started.
2. Use the Torx tool with the T15 tip to secure the XLR Board with the screws removed
from inside the rear panel.
3. Perform the Main Board installation procedure (Figure 3-36).
4. If necessary, install the Daughter Board (Figure 6-35).
5. Use the Torx tool with the T15 tip to secure the top cover with the screws previously
removed.
6. Replace the PAC208/216 in the rack.
7. Reconnect the power cord and turn PAC208/216 power On.
