Chapter 6 Parts Removal and Replacement

PDR 200 Service Manual

Motherboard

The Motherboard is mounted on the bottom panel of the PDR200 chassis. Removal
and replacement requires removal of a number of parts.

To remove the Motherboard:

1. Turn PDR200 power Off and disconnect the power cord.

2. Perform the procedure to remove the Profile chassis from the rack (page 6-6).

3. Remove the covers (page 6-8).

4. Perform the fan tray removal procedure (page 6-18).

5. Remove the board retainer brackets (page 6-31).

6. Being sure to note the board locations, remove all boards (pages 6-33 - 6-36).

7. Perform the power supply removal procedure (pages 6-40 - 6-42).

8. Use the Torx tool with the T15 tip to remove the screws which secure the

Motherboard to the bottom panel.

To install the Motherboard:

1. Use the Torx tool with the T15 tip to attach the Motherboard to the bottom panel of

the chassis.

2. Perform the power supply installation procedure (page 6-43).

3. Reinstall all boards from the slots they were removed from (pages 6-33 - 6-36).

4. Reinstall board retainer brackets (page 6-32).

5. Perform the fan tray installation procedure (page 6-19).

6. Replace covers (page 6-8) and reinstall the Profile chassis in the rack (page 6-7).

7. Reconnect the power cord and turn PDR200 power On.
