PAC208/216 Power Supply
The power supply on the PAC208/216 consists of two modules which mount on
stand-offs on the bottom panel of the chassis. A power supply failure requires removal
of both modules. Removal and replacement requires removal of the shield and fan.
To remove the power supply:
1. Perform the fan removal procedure except do remove the fan from the shield
(page 6-52).
2. Disconnect the cables from power supply (1 in Figure 6-33).
3. Use the Torx tool with the T15 tip to remove the screws (four per module) which
secure the power supply to the stand-offs and lift each module up and out of the
chassis (2 in Figure 6-33).
To replace the power supply:
1. Position each power supply module on the stand-offs on the bottom panel of the
chassis and use the Torx tool with the T15 tip to secure the modules with the screws
previously removed (Figure 6-33).
2. Reconnect the cables previously disconnected.
3. Perform the fan replacement procedure (page 6-52).
