5.2 Use the ProtoNode Web GUI to Connect to the ProtoNode
• Open PC web browser and enter the default IP address of the ProtoNode 192.168.1.24/
Determine if the ProtoNode is up and communicating. Figure 5-2 shows the main landing
page for the ProtoNode.
• Under Active Profiles, the discovered Modbus RTU devices with the associated Modbus
RTU Node ID’s can be seen. If no profiles are present, then the wiring, baud rate, and
DIP switch settings must be checked, because there is a problem with the Modbus
COMs. All the active devices must show the correct Modbus Node-ID’s before
proceeding.
