Path Cost
The spanning tree algorithm uses the cost parameter to decide
which port provides the lowest cost path to the root bridge for
that LAN. The default path costs are 10 for the 10/100 Mbps ports
and 4 for the 10/100/1000 Mbps ports. The range is 1 to 65535.
The following parameters are for display purposes only and
cannot be changed from the Spanning Tree Port Configuration
Menu.
Port Index
The port number. All indicates a setting that includes all ports on
the switch.
Port Status
The current STP status of the port. Possible values are:
❑ Forwarding
❑ Listening
❑ Learning
❑ Blocking
Port Speed
This parameter indicates the operating speed of the port.
MAC Address
The MAC address of the port.
4. Click the Apply button to the right of the port settings.
