4. Add 1 1/2 to 2 syringes of thermal grease to the U3 chip to ensure sufficient cooling.
Spread the paste evenly across the surface of the chip.
5. Remove the adhesive backing on the light pipe gasket. Attach the light pipe to the
gasket.
6. Before placing the logic board into the midplane chassis, position the cables out of the
way so they don’t get stuck under the logic board.
