Replacing the Midplane Chassis

1.

Make sure the midplane chassis is clean.

2.

Replace the lower fan.

3.

Replace the speaker set.

4.

Replace the AirPort Extreme antenna cable.

5.

Replacement Note: Before installing the logic board, refer to the Logic Board

procedure to clean the heatpad and apply new thermal grease.

6.

Replace the logic board.

7.

Replace the power supply.

8.

Replace the upper fans.

9.

Replace the hard drive duct.

10. Replace the Bluetooth antenna cable.

11. Replace the midplane assembly in the back cover.
