iMac G5 (20-inch) Repair Extension Program - 20
For out-of-warranty computers, check the Override Warranty box in the Coverage
section of GCRM and select “Quality Program” for the reason. To generate the QP
code, click on the magnifying glass icon and select the Quality Program ID. Choose
IMPSQP iMac Power Supply QP.
European IMCs:
For repairs covered under the iMac G5 REP for Power Supply Issues, IMCs in
Europe must order power supplies as stock parts using the part number listed above.
To receive credit for the covered power supplies ordered as stock parts, IMCs must
request an RMA number from the SPS team and return the defective parts to Apple
with the RMA number.
Latin America:
Latin American service providers should order parts for this repair extension program
in the usual manner. Service providers submitting a warranty claim should select
“Quality Programs” as the claim type. Ensure the defective power supplie's serial
number is entered in the Defective SN field.
Customers are responsible for transportation costs to eligible service providers and
retail stores.
