iMac G5 (20-inch) Take Apart -
Lower Fan

Without straining any of the cables, use a flat-blade screwdriver to carefully pry open
the cable guides on the underside of the midplane chassis. Release the fan cable from
the cable guides.
Caution: Use the flat-blade screwdriver to open the cable guides only enough to
slide out the fan cable. Do not over-extend the cable guides.
4.
Turn over the midplane chassis, and remove the two T10 screws from the interior of
the fan housing.
