Displaying a list of multicast groups

To display PIM group information, enter the following command at any CLI level.

Brocade(config)# show ip pim group

Total number of groups for VRF default-vrf: 7

Syntax: show ip pim [vrf vrf-name] group

The vrf option allows you to display PIM group information for the VRF instance identified by the
vrf-name variable.

TTL Threshold

Following the TTL threshold value, the interface state is listed. The
interface state can be one of the following:

Disabled

Enabled

Local Address

Indicates the IP address configured on the port or virtual interface.

Mode

Version

Designated Router

Total number of Groups

Lists the total number of IP multicast groups the device is forwarding.
NOTE: This list can include groups that are not PIM Sparse groups. If interfaces on

the device are configured for regular PIM (dense mode) or DVMRP, these
groups are listed too.

The index number of the table entry in the display.
