Configuring DVMRP

The vrf option allows you to display multicast traffic information for the VRF instance identified by
the vrf-name variable.
The display shows the following information.
Clearing DVMRP traffic statistics
To clear statistics for DVMRP traffic, enter the following command.
Brocade# clear ip dvmrp traffic
Syntax: clear ip dvmrp [ vrf vrf-name ] traffic
This command clears all the dvmrp multicast traffic information on all interfaces on the device or
for the interfaces of a specified VRF.
Use the vrf option to clear the traffic information for a VRF instance specified by the vrf-name
variable.
Displaying DVMRP Settings
To display global DVMRP settings or DVMRP settings for a specified VRF. To display global IGMP
settings, enter the following command.
Syntax: show ip dvmrp [vrf vrf-name] settings
The vrf parameter specifies that you want to display DVMRP settings information for the VRF
specified by the vrf-name variable.

Port
The port or virtual interface on which the PIM interface is configured.
Probe
The number of received, transmitted, and discarded probe messages.
Graft
The number of received, transmitted, and discarded graft messages.
Prune
The number of received, transmitted, and discarded prune messages.
Total Discard or chksum
The total number of IGMP messages discarded, including a separate
counter for those that failed the checksum comparison.
