E-3-3 Parameter Manager
Parameter Manager has the following functions. HART / FOUNDATION fieldbus H1
devices are supported.
1. Uploads device parameters.
2. Exports and imports parameters to/from TSV files*.
* TSV:extention is txt (Text File Tab Separated).
3. Compares the parameters of the connected device with those imported from a file
and checks differences.
4. Selects the parameters for download and then downloads them to the device.
5. Enables parameters freely selected by the user from all the parameters to be
assigned to a Custom tab for up to 5 groups. The selection becomes a common
definition for identical device models. For FOUNDATION fieldbus H1 devices,
parameter assignment is possible across FOUNDATION fieldbus H1 blocks.
A DD (Device Description) file corresponding to the device is required to use these functions. DD
files are provided by device vendors. The “Device Files Media” includes redistributable DD files
obtained from the HART Communication Foundation and Fieldbus Foundation.
