Menu Description
File Import Device Maintenance Info… Imports the device maintenance information from an
external file.
Export Serial No. ... Exports the serial numbers registered in the device
maintenance information to a file.
Exit Exits FieldMate.
View Status Bar Selects show/hide of the status bar.
(* Default: Show)
Update Updates the display information.
Action Device Setup Starts Built-in DTM or the DTM Works or Parameter
Manager window.
Assigned DTM... Starts the DTM assigned to the device in the DTM Works
window.
Select DTM... Displays the Device DTM Selection dialog box and starts
the selected device DTM in the DTM Works window.
Parameter Manager... Starts the Parameter Manager window.
Open FDT Project... Displays Select FDT Project dialog and starts up the
selected FDT project in DTM Works window.
Open Device Maintenance Info… Starts up Device Maintenance Info window when a device
is selected.
If the device is not registered, it can be registered.
New Device Maintenance Info… Creates the device maintenance information manually.
Delete Device Maintenance Info… Deletes the device maintenance information.
Export Device Maintenance Info… Exports the device maintenance information to an
external file.
Flag the Device ON Changes the device flag ON.
OFF Changes the device flag OFF.
Add to Favorites (new) Creates new “Favorites”.
Up to 30 “Favorites” can be defined.
“Favorites” list Adds the selected device to “Favorites”.
Delete from Favorites Deletes the selected device from “Favorites”.
Device Files Setup for this device... Starts up Device Files Setup window. This allows setting
up device-related files (DD, DTM, and device icon) of the
selected device.
Tool User Manager… Starts up User Manager window.
Manages the user account in FieldMate.
Options… Starts up Options window.
HART Modem Configuration… Starts up HART Modem Configuration window.
It allows setting relating to the HART modem.
FOUNDATION fieldbus Interface
Configuration...
Starts up NI-FBUS Interface Configuration Utility or
Softing FFusb Configuration Tool.
Refer to G-4 FOUNDATION fieldbus Interface Selection.
PROFIBUS Interface
Configuration...
Starts up PROFIBUS Interface Configuration window.
This allows setting the Softing PROFIusb.
BRAIN Modem Configuration... Starts up BRAIN Modem Configuration window. This
allows setting the BRAIN Modem.
ISA100(Infrared) Interface
Configuration
This enables you to configure USB port.
ISA100(Gateway) Interface
Configuration
Configure Host name or IP address for the Gateway.
