 Relation between Segment Viewer Update and DTM Works
While an FDT project is open in DTM Works, the update of Segment Viewer for that project is
unsuccessful. Close DTM Works before updating Segment Viewer.
 Display Device Scan Processing Status
During the scanning of devices, the status and progress of the scan operation are displayed in
the status bar of FieldMate.

Menu Description
Assigned DTM... Starts the DTM assigned to the device in the DTM Works window.
Select DTM... Displays the Device DTM Selection dialog box and starts the selected
device DTM in the DTM Works window.
Open Device Maintenance Info… Starts the device maintenance information window.
Registers the device if it is not registered.
Register Device Maintenance Info… Creates device maintenance information based on connected device
information.
Unregister Device Maintenance Info… Deletes the maintenance information of a device that is selected in
the Segment Viewer of UDC mode if the device is registered in the
database. The device itself is not deleted from the database.
