configuration and Function
The multipole module brings a bundle of individual core pairs
together to form a multi-core cable that enables the signal to
pass from the higher-level controller to the FreeLINE automation
system.

cAuTION!
The multipole module itself does not have any protection against SURGE pulses.
As the multipole module is controlled via the inputs and outputs of a PLC, care must be
taken that a corresponding protection device is provided further upline (e.g. at the PLC).
NOTE!
If the multipole module is used on conjunction with feedback inputs, we recommend the
installation of a filter (> 4 ms) in the higher-level control unit (e.g. PLC). Otherwise incorrect
messages may be transmitted when using M8 plugs (without plastic insert) due to ESD.
