configuration of Magnetic Valve Safety Setting for Bus
Errors

During bus errors, the bus status LED can display; blinking green, blinking red and red. (a description is found
in the chapter Condition of the Bus Status LED).

The objects Error Action and Error Value can be used to configure the magnetic valve when there is a bus
error. These are represented by the Ids 51 to 82 in the parameter overview.

The configuration data for the magnetic valve can be accessed acyclically using Explicit Messages when there
is a bus error.

The action Get_Attribute_Single stands for reading access and the action Set_Attribute_Single for writing
access to the configuration data.

Objekt Fault Action (class 9 / instance 0 to 15 / attribute 5)

Defines the reaction of the outlets if a bus error occurs. In this case, every outlet byte is assigned to an in-
stance (in groups of 8).

Meaning

1 bin

The outlet remains in its current condition when there is an error.

0 bin

The outlet is switched to the condition written in the appropriate position in the Object Error Value
when there is an error.

Objekt Error Value (class 9 / instance 0 to 15 / attribute 6)

Defines the condition of an outlet when a bus error occurs. Prerequisite:

An appropriate setting in Object Error Action

In this case, every outlet byte is assigned to an instance (in groups of 8).

diagnosis Byte

Further, the possibility exists to send a diagnosis byte via bus. The diagnosis byte is attached to the end of the
input data and transferred cyclically as well. The error type and number are reported and coincides with the
blinking code of the LEDs FS and FN.

Explanation of the diagnosis Byte

Das Diagnosebyte ist folgendermaßen aufgebaut:
