SAFETy PREcAuTIONS
WARNING!
• Unintentional operation or impermissible damage can lead to generally dangerous
situations including physical injury.
Take suitable measures to prevent unintentional operation or inadmissible damage!
• Hazardous situations can occur during installation. This work may only be carried
out by specialist personnel using appropriate tools!
cAuTION!
• The system is live.
Interventions may result in an acute risk of injury.
Always switch off the power supply before starting work!
Observe all applicable accident prevention and safety regulations for electrical
equipment.
• The system is pressurised.
Risk of injury when loosening or removing lines or modules.
Depressurise the system before starting work!
• Interruption of the electrical or pneumatic power supply can result in undefined
statuses in the process.
Ensure that the process is restarted in a defined and controlled manner after an
interruption!
• The pressure in the system drops during switching.
This can result in damage to the system.
Design the pressure supply system with as large a volume as possible.
• The correct seating of the gaskets is a precondition for the safe operation of the
system.
Pay attention to the correct positioning of the gaskets around the electronic and
pneumatic components.
• The provisions of the EMC Act must be observed, otherwise the safety of the sy-
stem cannot be guaranteed.
Connect all FE connections in order to satisfy the requirements!
• The device may only be operated with direct current.
Otherwise damage may be caused to the FreeLINE system.
Ensure that the device is connected only to a DC power supply!
NOTE!
Start the installation with the fieldbus / multipole module.
The sequence of modules is random to the right of the fieldbus / multipole module.
