1 Byte Kanal KS bus
header
If a short-circuit is detected in the segment of the Fieldbus module CANopen, this byte indi-
cates the output channel on which the error occurs.

1 Byte Address RIO/ZM
If an error message is detected in the segment of an intermediate module or RIO expansion (RIO), the
address of the effected module is displayed in this byte.
In order to be differentiate between the intermediate modules that have been auto-assigned addresses
from 1 to n, and the RIO modules with an adjustable address range from 0 to 14, the MSB is set at the
RIO module.
Example:
Module + Address
Byte value [hex]
RIO + Adr.
1 7 Bit Address RIO
0x8
ZM + Adr.
0 7 Bit Address ZM
0x0
1 Byte Channel KS RIO/ZM
If a short-circuit is detected in the segment of an intermediate module or a RIO expansion, this byte describes the
output channel on which the error occurs.
The byte structure corresponds to the structure of the byte
Channel KS Bus Header.
