configuration of the Process data

Either a static input or a static output assembly are available for the transfer of process data over an I/O con-
nection. Selected attributes are joined into one object in these assemblies, in order to be able to be jointly
transferred as process data over an I/O connection.

The process data can be accessed either cyclically using the connections variants “polled I/O”, “bitstrobbed
I/O” or “change of state” (if the entry values change) or acyclically using explicit messages.

The acyclic access paths are: class 4 instance 1 attribute (input)

class 4 instance 2 attribute (output)

per module (main connector pro module (hub, inside module, RIO module 8645):
2 data bytes for inputs (sensors or initiators)
2 data bytes for outputs (actuators or valves)
per RIO-Module 8640:
4 data bytes for inputs (sensors or initiators)
3 data bytes for outputs (actuators or valves)
