RIO Modules 8640
All plug connector (voltage, internal bus) and the pneumatic connections must be made before com-
missioning. In addition, the internal address must be set.

config�uration
The configuration procedure is described here using the example of the STEP7 (Siemens).
Configure at least on module on the fieldbus module as described in chapter Commissioning / Field-
bus module Profibus ® / Configuration.
Here, the full expansion version DI16/DO16 was used as an example.

Pull the main/inside module DI16/DO16 into the slave, Type 8645/MK01 (drag and drop).
Transfer the RIO modules in the same way.
