• Press Enter button, ENTER TEMPERATURE is
displayed.
• Using the arrow buttons, enter the temperature of the
liquid in the beaker.
• Press Enter button, the display DENSITY SOLID
requests item to weighed, press the >O/T< button.
• Close the draft shield doors and weigh the solid
(weight
A ) by pressing the Enter button. The display
now requests the weight in liquid.
• Open the draft shield of the balance and place the
solid in the Weighing Pan of the Weigh Below Hook
in the liquid as shown. Ensure that there are no air
bubbles on the solid to be weighed.
• Close the draft shield doors and weigh the solid
(buoyancy
P ) by pressing the Enter button. The
display indicates the density in grams/cc.
• Successive samples may be taken simply by press-
ing Enter with the SET bar highlighted.
