Clearing a printer jam (continued)
Indicator lamp 8
When indicator lamp 8 is lit, a media jam has occurred between the
manual feed tray and xerographic area.
Procedure
1. Carefully, pull out any cut sheet media on the
manual feed tray.
If there is no media on the tray go to the next step.
2. If no paper is visible, open the front door of the
printer.
3. Rotate the latch-handle counterclockwise to open
the upper area of the printer.
4. Raise the upper area of the printer until the stopper
is latched.
