Clearing a printer jam (continued)
Indicator lamps 6 or 7
When indicator lamp 6 is lit, a media jam has occurred between the
RFC drawer 1 and the xerographic area of the machine.
When indicator lamp 7 is lit, a media jam has occurred between the
RFC drawer 2 and the xerographic area of the machine.
Procedure
1. If indicator lamp 6 is lit, open the RFC drawer 1
cover or if indicator lamp 7 is lit, open the RFC
drawer 2
2. Remove the media jam. If needed, cut the media
manually (page 53) and return to this procedure to
perform the next step.
Note: This example shows media being
removed from the RFC drawer 2.
3. Close the RFC cover.
Caution: A message is displayed, until all
RFC covers are closed correctly.
