Check the following points

Has the scanner been left out of operation for a long time after being powered on? (page

If the problem persists, check the items in

Has the scanner been left out of operation for a long time after being powered on?
Solution
The scanner has entered power saving mode or has been automatically turned off.
●
If the scanner has entered power saving mode
The LCD on the operator panel turns off, but the power button remains lit in blue.
Resume from power saving mode by one of the following methods:

Load a document on the hopper.

Press any button (except for power button) on the operator panel.
However, do not press the power button for more than two seconds,
because it will turn the power off.

Scans a document with the image scanning application.

If the scanner has been automatically turned off
The LCD on the operator panel and the lamp for the power button turn off.
Turn on the scanner.
