■ Parallel Mounting with Drive
When installing the converter beside a drive, mount the devices according to Figure 2.3 .

■ Side-by-Side Installation with Drive
Models 2A0005 to 2A0020 and 4A0005 to 4A0020 can take advantage of Side-by-Side installation.
When installing the converter beside a drive, mount the devices according to Figure 2.4 and set L8-35, Installation
Method Selection, to 1 (Side-by-Side Mounting).
When mounting converters with the minimum clearance of 2 mm according to Figure 2.5 , set parameter L8-35 to 1 while
considering derating. Refer to Parameter Tables on page 181 for details.

Note: Align the tops of the converter and the drives when installing the converter and the drives of different heights in the same
enclosure panel. Leave space between the tops and bottoms of stacked converter and drives for easier cooling fan replacement.
