Lynx Windows File Management Utility
Lynx is a Windows file management utility that runs on a desktop
PC, allowing you to easily transfer files between your desktop PC and
the Allegro Field Computer. Additional file management functions that
can be performed remotely on the Allegro from your PC include:
❏ Creating and deleting files or folders
❏ Moving or copying files within the remote or local computer
❏ Viewing the contents of folders, the C: drive, or PC cards

Lynx Screens
When you start Lynx from your Windows Start Menu, two
Windows Explorer
™
-type screens are displayed. The top screen (Local)
displays the contents of your PC. The bottom screen
(Remote) displays the contents of the Allegro after a connection is
established. A sample screen is shown below:
