5) While using COM 1, COM 2, or the infrared port, check the Allow
serial cable or infrared connection to this COM port: box and confirm the
correct PC port is selected in the drop down box.
6) Press OK.
❖ Note: This setting gives ActiveSync complete control over the selected PC
port. To disable this control setting, follow the previous three steps, only
uncheck the Allow serial cable or infrared connection to this COM port box.
7) Double-tap on the PC Link icon on the Allegro to connect to
ActiveSync on your PC. If you have not set up a partnership the New
Partnership screen appears. If a partnership is set up, ActiveSync
begins the synchronization process. The following screen appears:
After ActiveSync is connected it goes through synchronization
process as described earlier in this section.
