Running DOS
The Allegro boots to Windows CE by default when it is first turned on.
To switch to DOS, tap the Start button and select Programs|Boot to DOS.
Once you switch to DOS, it becomes the default operating system until
you switch back to Windows CE. You can operate the Allegro by issuing
standard DOS commands from the DOS prompt or through a file
management program called FileScout (described in detail later in this
section).
Going to Windows CE from DOS
To switch to Windows CE from DOS, type “WCE” at the DOS prompt. It
is normal for the display to become dark for several seconds while
Windows CE is loading.
