Loading “Trigger” Image Data into the Simulator

This section explains how to load “Trigger” image data into the simulator from a computer drive folder (including
removable media) or a CV-5001 Series controller.

Reading data into the simulator from the computer.

Select [Import test images] from the [Simulator] menu.

The [Import Test Images] menu appears.

Note

This function is not available while collecting data.

Suspend data collection before proceeding with the simulator.

Folder name

Displays the name of the folder where image data will
be stored. Displays the name of the folder set in
[Location of Test Images] under [Camera/Image
settings] of [Virtual CV settings].

Note

Folder names cannot be changed or deleted from this

menu.

Image filename

Displays the name configuration data for the imported images.
Automatically displays the name configuration data
for the imported images in [Specify Test Image files]
under [Camera/Image settings] of [Virtual CV
Settings].

Note

[Prefix] and [Serial number] cannot be changed or deleted from this menu.

Camera no.

[Camera no.] can be changed according to the number
of cameras connected in the virtual CV. The imported
images will be assigned to the camera no. set here.

Digits in Seq. no.

Changing the initial serial number value will change the
initial serial number used when reading image data.

Note

To import images directly from the CV-5001 controller, make sure

the controller is connected and select the [Import form CV] tab.
