The following naming convention is used for data that can be read by the simulator.
[Prefix] + [Camera number] + [ _(underscore)] + [serial number(up to ten digits)] + [extension: .bmp or .jpg]

Note

Change [Connect to] under [Name/Connected CV] from the [Virtual CV Settings] menu to change the prefix.

Connection point settings" (page 4-7) are automatically appended to connection point names of applicable connection points.

Serial numbers can be from 1 to 10

Specifies the number of digits for the “Trigger“ image data serial numbers.

The initial, minimum and maximum values for serial numbers can range from 0 to 1000000000 (maximum number of digits).

Specifies the initial, minimum and maximum serial numbers for the image data.
This will determine how many “Trigger” images the simulator will use.

Note

If the image storage folder is installed on the same drive as the currently running OS, saving image data may result in instability

in the system if drive space begins to run low. In such a case, change the image storage location to a different drive or reduce

the maximum serial number to reduce the amount of data stored on the drive.

Click the Program Folders tab.

Assign a virtual C drive(CV-5001 Series internal memory)
and a virtual D drive(CV-5001 Series CompactFlash memory
card) for each Virtual CV.

Click the [Browse] button on [C drive of Virtual CV] to
assign a folder on the computer for the virtual C drive.

Note

Do not assign a network path here.

Do not assign a removable media to the C drive.

Click the [Browse] button on [D drive of Virtual CV] to assign a
memory card, removable media device connected to the
computer or a folder on the computer for the virtual D drive.
