Starting the Simulator

Select [Start simulation] from the [Simulator] menu.
Note
•
Enter the serial key when the [CV5000 simulator registry]
appears.
Refer to Obtaining a Serial Key for the Simulator" (page 1-12)
for more information.
•
It may take several minutes for the simulator to start.
•
Stop data collection before using communication functions.
A simulator screen like the one on the left appears.
The user interface associated with the selected simulator
settings appears.
Refer to "Chapter 2 Example 1: Using the Simulator" (page 2-
2) for more information about operating a sample program
(virtual CV: sample).

Specialized simulator functions
•
Cycling trigger: Hold the [TRG] key for 3 seconds or more to activate.
This displays all of the images in the specified folder in the order of their serial number. (for images with names created
according to specific rules. Refer to Page 4-37 for more information)
Image processing results are confirmed by statistical analysis.
•
Reverse trigger: Press the [TRG] key and [FNC] key at the same time to activate.
This is useful when reconfirming already inspected pictures.
Each time this is activated, the previous image is inspected.
•
Repeat trigger: Press the [TRG] key and [SCR] key at the same time to activate.
This is useful for processing the current picture again without updating.
