Note
The following functions differ from that found on a physical CV-5001
Series controller.
• Process time/Interval: Because the computer and the controller
have different hardware configurations, the time required for
image processing is different.
• External input/output
General judgment, terminal output, PLC - EIP - RS-232C,
Ethernet, USB, and image output (SD2) do not function. Output to
a memory card can be used to output to the virtual D drive.
• Image Archive (utility) No image history is created.
• File management (utility)
Not available.
• Multi-Image Capture
The Multi-Image capture will not function if activated in the
simulator. Normal measurement will be taken.
• [Import] and [Export] of [Library data files] in the OCR tool is
disabled.
• The following differences in measurement results may be found
depending on the variation of calculation hardware between the
physical CV-5001 series controller and the computer.
• Correlation for library registration in the OCR tool/simulator
• Edge mode/edge intensity in two decimal places or less
• Intensity inspection mode/average intensity in two decimal
places or less
• Image input setting
When the shutter speed/camera speed/mirror processing is
changed, they are not applied to images.
