Sample trace values
are lower than
expected. The lamps might be nearing the
end of their usable life. Check the lamp usage values in
the System Information dialog
box. From the System Control
tab in ChromLab open File >
System Information > Detectors
tab.
If the lamp usage values are
close to their limits
(approximately 2,000 hours for
the deuterium and tungsten
lamps; approximately 5,000
hours for LEDs), change the
lamps.
