Networking an R320.0
Client to a Remote PC

Use the following procedure to map a drive on an R320.0 Client to a remote
machine.

1. Logon to the R320.0 Client as plx_user.

2. Click Start

⇒

Run.

3. Enter this command:

>cmd<

and click OK to open the DOS window.

4. Enter this command:

>NET USE T: \\STN01\C$<

(where STN01 is the remote PC name)

and press .

5. Open Windows Explorer and confirm that the T: drive exists.

6. Enter this command:

xcopy C:\Data\*.* T:\R320Data /E

and press .

7. If necessary, enter >D< to specify that R320Data is a directory.

ATTENTION

All data saved on the existing Client PC should be stored
on a remote PC before upgrading the Client. The remote
PC can be any PC on the network, such as another Client
PC.
