Principally, a defective Controller can only be replaced by a device of the same product type.

10.1

Removing the connected (defective) controller

How to remove the connected controller:

1. Disconnect the system from the supply and check for correct disconnection.
2. Disconnect the current supply of the controller.
3. If I/O modules (I/O system 1000) are connected to the Controller:

Remove electronic module of the first I/O system 1000 (if available)

4. Remove bus connections and other connections.
5. Remove SD card from the card slot.

Danger!

High electrical voltage
De-energise the controller before removing a connected controller.
