Voids in printing.
Clean the printhead.
Change supply.
Reload ribbon roll or cassette.
"Head test failure" message
appears.
Check for visible print problems
and continue printing or call
Monarch Service.
If the print problem is in a bar code,
call Monarch Service. You can
check the quality of your bar code if
you have a bar code verifier.
"Check ribbon" message appears.
Load a new ribbon roll or cassette.
Reload ribbon roll or cassette.
"Supply fault" message appears.
Reload supply.
Remove backing paper and reload.
Load new supply.
Check the size specified on the
format and load the correct supply.

No cut action (or sound) when T
key is pressed.
Press S , then press T twice to
adjust the knife. Then press e
twice to clear the message.
Unlock knife.
No cut action when T key is
pressed, but there is a slight hum.
Call Monarch Service.
Cut length is more than 0.03 inches
from tag length.
Call Monarch Service.
"Knife jam" message appears.
Turn the printer off. Clear paper
and clean away any gum residue.

be worn or you are attempting to
cut supplies that are less than 1.2
inches in length).
