Replace the feed unit to its origi-
nal position by first pushing the
far end, and then pushing the
near end into their places.

Close the ADF cover, making sure
that it clicks firmly into place.

While pushing the release lever,
open the ADF unit.

Wipe the exposure glass, the
white strip under the exposure
glass cover, and the six rollers.
Use a dry, soft cloth. If it is very
dirty, wipe with a soft cloth that
has been dampened with water
and wrung out, then wipe the sur-
face with a dry cloth.
