17.2.6. Deleting a Scene

You can delete a Scene in Ideas view.

To delete a Scene in the Ideas view:

1.

Press

IDEAS

(

Song

).

2.

Press

SHIFT

+ Button 1 (

IDEAS

)

3.

Press and hold

SCENE

to enter Scene mode.

4.

Press Button 7 and 8 to select the desired Scene bank.

5.

Press the pad corresponding to the Scene you want to delete.

6.

Press Button 6 (

DELETE

).

The Scene is deleted with all its Patterns. Scenes to the right shift to fill the gap.

17.2.7. Duplicating a Scene

The Ideas view allows you to duplicate a Scene. When using MASCHINE+ in Controller mode this

feature works in connection with settings made in the Default page of the Preferences.

Together they offer you options to:

• duplicate Scenes
• duplicate Scenes and Patterns
• link when duplicating Sections
For more information on the Default page of the Preferences, refer to the MASCHINE Software

Manual.

To duplicate a Scene:

1.

Press

SCENE

Section

) to enter Scene mode.

2.

Press the pad corresponding to the Scene you want to duplicate.

3.

Press any unlit pad to duplicate the Scene.

17.2.8. Selecting a Scene Bank

It is possible to select a Scene located in another Scene bank.

To select a Scene located in another Scene bank:

1.

Press

SCENE

(

Section

).

2.

Press Button 7 or 8 to select the previous or next Scene bank.

17.2.9. Creating and Deleting Scene Banks

A new Scene bank is automatically created once you fill an entire bank with Scenes.

To delete a Scene bank:

1.

Press and hold

SCENE

(

Section

) to enter Scene mode.

2.

If required, press Button 7 and 8 to select the desired Scene bank.

3.

Press

SHIFT

+ Button 6 (

DELETE

) to delete the selected Scene bank.

The Scene bank is deleted including all its Scenes. The following banks are shifted up to fill

the gap.
