Administrating EDID profiles
The EDID information (Extended Display Identification Data) of a monitor inform the
graphics card of a connected computer about various technical features of the
device.
The EDID profile of the monitor that is connected to the user module, is not avail-
able at the target module. Therefore, the target module transmits a standard profile
to the computer. The EDID information of the profile are optimised for the majority
of available graphics cards.
We provide additional profiles for special resolutions.
