How to rename a target module in the Select menu:
1. Press the
Ctrl+Num
(default) hotkey to open the on-screen display.
2. Select the target module to be renamed.
3. Press
F5

4. Change the name and press

Deleting a target module from the KVM matrix system
If the matrix system is not able to detect a target module that has already been con-
nected to the system, the device is defined as inactive.
Therefore, the list entry of the target module you want to permanently remove from
the system has to be manually removed.
How to delete a target module that is inactive or disconnected from the system:
1. Press the
Ctrl+Num
(default) hotkey to open the on-screen display.
2. Press
F11
to call the
Configuration
menu.
3. Select the
Target
entry and press
Enter
.
NOTE:
The message »Name exists« is displayed if a target module with the same
name has already been connected to the system.
The settings of such target modules are stored within the matrix system and are
only visible in the Config Panel web application. If necessary, use the web appli-
cation to delete the target module from the system.
Afterwards, this name can be assigned to another target module.
NOTE:
Use the menu’s search function, the view filter or the sort criteria (see
page 9 ff.) to limit the selection of list entries.
NOTE:
