Selecting the hash algorithm for storing passwords
By default, user passwords are stored as MD5 hash values in the database.
You can also change the hash algorithm to
bcrypt
.
How to change the hash algorithm to store passwords:
1. Press the
Ctrl+Num
(default) hotkey to open the on-screen display.
2. Press
F11
to call the Configuration menu.
3. Select the
System
entry and press
Enter
.
4. Select the
Hash algorithm
entry and press
F8
to select the desired option:

to save your settings.
Ctrl+U
If you grouped multiple ports in a channel group (see page 104 f.),
you can hold the USB signal (USB connection) on the currently
accessed computer.
Pin:
The hold function is enabled. If you access another computer,
the KVM signals are switched to that computer. The USB signal
remains on the computer you accessed first.
The Select menu shows the name of the computer that holds the
USB signal.
Unpin:
The hold function is disabled. The USB signal of the cur-
rently accessed computer is accessed.
NOTE:
The hash algorithm
bcrypt
is supported from version 1.2.000.
Update the firmware of one of the matrix switches before resetting a backup con-
taining
bcrypt
hash values.
