Access mode when simultaneously accessing a target computer
In the default settings of the KVM matrix system, only one user can access a target
computer.
This restriction can be lifted by changing the access rights for a user account or a
user group.
You can either change the global settings to allow multiple users to access a target
computer at the same time (for all target computers a user or a user group has access
to) or you can change the rights for particular target computers or target groups only.
How to change the multi access rights:
1. Press the
Ctrl+Num
(default) hotkey to open the on-screen display.
2. Press
F11
to call the
Configuration
menu.
3. If you want to change this right of a user account, select the
User
entry.
For changing the right of a user group, select the
Usergroup
entry.
4. Press
Enter
.
5. Select the user account or the user group whose multi access rights you want to
change and press
F5
.
6. Select the
Operation rights
entry and press
Enter
.
7. Select the
Multi access
entry and press
F8
(repeatedly) to select one of the following
options:

to save your settings.
NOTE:
The right for simultaneous access depends on the user’s effective right (see
page 40). The effective right is the highest right that results from the individual
right of the user accounts and the rights of the assigned group(s).

denies access to an already accessed target computer
view:
allows to view the screen content of the targer computer; no inputs
possible
full:
full access to an already accessed target computer
