DVB‐S2 Receiver: The CDM‐750 supports DVB‐S2 QPSK, 8PSK, 16APSK, and 32APSK modulation/
demodulation up to 63 Msps with receive data rates up to 169 Mbps depending on the
modulation type and code rate.
In DVB‐S2 operation, the receiver operates in the CCM and ACM modes. The receiver
automatically detects for pilots ON/OFF and supports spectral rolloff of 20%, 25% or 35%.

Verification: The CDM‐750 includes many test modes and loopbacks for rapid verification of
the correct functioning of the unit. Of particular note is the IF loopback, which permits the
user to perform a quick diagnostic test without having to disturb external cabling.
During the loopback, all of the receive configuration parameters are temporarily changed to
match those of the transmit side, and an internal RF switch connects the modulator output to
the demodulator input. When normal operation is again selected, all of the previous values
are restored.
Monitor and Control Interfaces: The unit is managed through multiple interfaces providing
options for both in‐band and out‐of‐band monitor and control.

On‐site Firmware Updates: Field update of the operating system firmware is possible through
file upload via satellite or the Ethernet port.
